Bet You Thought I Left Town

If you only knew how busy I have been. I will post the Tuesday Quick Bread Recipe Thursday night. I was so busy with the cottage this week. We are gearing up for the ski season and we are already booking into Feb 2010 at Tree Top Cottage. So, I had to skip a few days blogging. I wanted to share with all of my blogging friends a few of my new Thanksgiving Items before I listed them in Cottage Loft Boutique. I have a beautiful Cornucopia and 2 different Fall Swags. The swags would look beautiful on a tall candle holder on your Thanksgiving table. The pics are below. Just leave me a post if you would like one of these items. Hope you are all having a wonderful week. It is getting cold up here in Big Bear Lake and very windy. It was 23 degrees last night and the high today was only 34 degrees. But it felt so good!! I will post that bread recipe tomorrow evening.

Zucchini Bread



Zucchini Bread
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder
3 tsps cinnamon
3 eggs
1 cup canola oil
2 1/2 cups sugar
3 tsps vanilla
2 cups grated zucchini


Prepare 2 8 x 4" pans. Heat oven to 325. Mix flour,salt,soda,baking powder & cinnamon in a bowl. Beat eggs, oil, vanilla & sugar together in a large bowl. Add the flour mixture and beat well. Stir in the zucchini. Pour into pans and bake 45 to 60 minutes. Enjoy!!
